Oracle Cards for 2024 and for the month of January

We have two cards to contemplate today. Both are from The Sacred Circle Tarot, a Celtic Pagan Journey by Anna Franklin, illustrated by Paul Mason. One is for the entire year that begins today, and the other for January.

Monthly Oracle Card

Our oracle draw for October is not specifically Celtic, but the card we drew of the horses certainly speaks to animal spirits and the belief in animal energy, which was important to the ancient Celtics.

I was a little disappointed at first that it wasn't a more lofty or intriguing item- The Cow, when I was expecting an iconic figure like Merlin or maybe a dragon!

The 7 Heavenly Virtues

The card I drew for July is called Seven Heavenly Virtues. Juxtaposed to the previous page is the card of Seven Deadly Sins. I liked the idea of turning the focus to a positive list.
